چکیده
Abstract Introduction It is known that low diastolic blood pressure (DBP) at admission associated with short-term cardiovascular events after acute coronary syndrome (ACS). However, there a lack of further investigation into the nonlinear relationship between and adverse outcomes ACS patients. Objective To investigate subsequent mortality in patients syndrome. Methods Retrospective study periodically included our center registry October/2012 September/2018. Patients class killip 4 or needed ionotropic support during hospitalization were excluded. The association DBP follow-up period among this population was analyzed using multivariate COX regression model. Results presented according to quartiles: Q1, less than 70 mm Hg; Q2, from 71 80 Q3, 81 90 Q4, above mmHg. A total 548 cohort study. Mean patient age 65.9±13.1 years 75.2% men. relation observed over follow-up. During median 42 months (IQR: 27–59), 47 (8.6%) died causes. After adjusting for potential confounders (age diabetes mellitus), Q3 had lowest risk death by Cox proportional hazard model (HR 0.44; 95% CI: 0.16–1.00). Meanwhile, compared significantly lower 0.35, 0.13–0.92). Conclusion Among admitted ACS, U curve death. These results could be explained reduction flow which influences myocardial oxygen supply relative necessary demand an ACS. Funding Acknowledgement Type funding sources: None.

Ventricular pressure-volume curve indices change with end-diastolic pressure.
Many indices have been proposed to describee the diastolic pressure-volume curve mathematically and permit quantification of the elastic properties of the myocardium itself in hopes that changes in the muscle caused by disease would b.e reflected in the diastolic pressure-volume curve. To date, none of the proposed indices has been shown convincingly to discriminate one group of patients from a...
متن کاملThe J-curve between Diastolic Blood Pressure and Risk of All-cause and Cardiovascular Death
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES The J-curve phenomenon between diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and mortality has been reported repeatedly in treated patients. However, the baseline risk of low DBP has not been fully explored. This study was to examine the relationship between DBP and risk of mortality from all-cause, atherosclerotic vascular diseases (ASCVD), and ischemic heart disease (IHD) using a p...
متن کاملCoronary flow reserve and the J curve relation between diastolic blood pressure and myocardial infarction.
The results of several large studies of hypertension and follow up studies on insured people have indicated that the lower the blood pressure the better for longevity. These studies excluded subjects with overt ischaemia. More recently long term studies of hypertension that included patients with more severe forms of hypertension and did not exclude those with overt ischaemia have shown a J sha...
متن کاملMyocardial perfusion and the J curve association between diastolic blood pressure and mortality.
BACKGROUND The J-curve relationship between brachial diastolic blood pressure (DBP) and mortality is believed to be mediated through reduced myocardial perfusion. This study aimed to determine the relationship between DBP and subendocardial perfusion in patients with and without coronary artery disease (CAD) and to examine central hemodynamic variables that may explain the risk associated with ...
